![]() Looking away from the yearly general inflation, that the price have to be adjusted for, I will not be surpriced if the Fusion360 fee will be 100% higher in 5-10 years than today, just beause so many new functions will have been added to the basic version (of which most likely will not ad any value for my specific use) In 10 years I might us 70 commands, but there are 1000 commands that I do not need. Say I use max 50 commands today, and there are 450 commands that I do not use, but pay for. My fear is that the cost of the basic version of Fusion 360 will grow into being just as unafordable as Inventor for many of us 'lite useres'. Development and correction of bugs are of course great. I notice there is a constant development of the software, new functions added into the basic version, about month by month. I mainy use the 3D design, creating drawings, files for 3D print, lazercutting of plates. I wonder what is Autodesk's future plans with Fusion 360? Is the plan to keep it at the reasonable cost level of today, or will it be a 'new Inventor', beyond reach to many subscribed users of today?įirst of all, love Fusion 360, and just fine paying the yearly fee of about 500 usd for the basic version. ![]() Fusion 360 subscription fee possible growning into unaffordable, is a 'bug' that I feel the contours of seeing more advanced functions added in the basic version.
